The Artist, Jim Waltman

Jim first started working with metal as a teenager in the late 60's while rebuilding a '49 Harley 45 cubic inch Flathead. His love of art moved him into paints shortly thereafter. Which lead him to custom painting on cars and motorcycles. It made sense to him to take an impersonal machine and give it some decoration and personality. During this same time frame he learned music and now performs for fun and stress relief.

Retiring from a successful career in the computer industry has allowed his creative juices to flow again. He still likes working with cars, motorcycles, and metal, which translates to his enjoyment for metal sculpting.

When not enjoying the beautiful Texas sun or persuading pretty young women to pose for a sketching session, he can be found building his personal vision of stylized street rods.
